Setting Up a Minimum Price for a SKU

Setting up a minimum price for a SKU prevents the SKU from being sold below the specified price. This minimum price overrides any sales or discount rules applied to the SKU.

1. Login to AmberPOS and access the Inventory Menu

2. Overview of Inventory Menu:

      Step 1: Select the SKUs tab.

      Step 2: Select a SKU from the list to apply the Min. Price to.

      Step 3: Click on the Min. Price field in the SKU Info tab.

      Step 1: Select the SKU you wish to add a Min. Price rule for. (Default is the SKU selected in the inventory menu).

      Step 2: Select the Start and End dates for the Min. Price rule.

      Step 3: Choose the minimum Sell Price that the SKU will not fall under regardless of any sales or discounts applied to it.

      Step 4: Add and finalize the Min. Sell Price to the SKU(s) selected.

      Step 5: Select Close to return back to the inventory menu.

4. An optional method is the Advanced Rule editor: here you can edit your minimum price at higher detail.
