Uploading skus to Bigcommerce

There are two different ways to upload skus to Bigcommerce.

 

1.  Individual Uploading: Open AmberPos and login with your username and password and then access the inventory menu.

 

Ensure that the skus.PNG tab is selected, then Select the SKU you wish to upload by clicking on it in your SKU list.

Your SKU's info.PNG tab will open in the bottom half of the screen.

 Select 1.PNG to open a window that give you tools for managing your product on Bigcommerce.  When the window loads, press the 1.PNG button to upload the item to Bigcommerce.

2.  Mass Uploading: Open AmberPos and login with your username and password and then access the inventory menu.

 

Ensure that the skus.PNG tab is selected and then click on 3.PNG.  From the options that appear choose the last one 4.PNG.

A window will appear where you can manage multiple inventory items at a time.  Details about this window can be found HERE.  When the window finishes loading click on the tab 6.PNG.

 

Select the SKU cell value for items you want to upload onto Bigcommerce.  You can select a group of items by holding down the shift key and clicking down the list, or holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on multiple items.  After selecting the SKU values click on the 9.PNG button.

 

 You will receive a message indicating that the item(s) has successfully uploaded online.

  It is recommended that if you are uploading multiple items at a time to try doing fewer items than more.  Attempt to upload 10 items and if the duration of time isn't too long you can try uploading items of a higher quantity in increments of 10.  There are many variables that affect the item upload which include sku structure, data volume and packet travel.
