How to Install or Reinstall Microsoft Print to PDF Printer Driver

To install the Microsoft Print to PDF printer driver please follow the steps below.

 

Step 1 - Open a Run box (Press the Windows key + R).

Step 2 - In the input box, type in optionalfeatures and press the OK button.

Step 3 - In the "Windows Features" window, locate Microsoft Print to PDF and tick/check on the box to turn this feature on, then click OK. You might have to scroll down a bit if you do not see the Microsoft Print to PDF

Step 4 - Once the Microsoft Print to PDF printer driver is installed, you should see the window below. Press Close to finish off this step.

To check if the Microsoft Print to PDF driver is installed, follow the steps below.

 

Step 1 - Open a Run box (Press the Windows key + R)

Step 2 - In the input box type in control printers and press the OK key.

The Devices and Printers window should pop up and you should see Microsoft Print to PDF printer driver now available.

To Reinstall the driver please follow the steps below.

 

Step 1 - Open a Run box (Press the Windows key + R)

Step 2 - In the input box type in optionalfeatures and press the OK key.

Step 3 - In the "Windows Features" window, locate Microsoft Print to PDF and Untick/Uncheck the box to turn this feature off, then click OK.

Step 4 - Once the Microsoft Print to PDF printer driver is uninstalled you should see the window below. Press Close to finish off this step.

Once this printer driver is uninstalled, Now you can install the driver as per below.

 

Step 1 - Open a Run box (Press the Windows key + R)

Step 2 - In the input box, type in optionalfeatures and press the OK button.

Step 3 - In the "Windows Features" window, locate Microsoft Print to PDF and tick/check on the box to turn this feature on, then click OK. You might have to scroll down a bit if you do not see the Microsoft Print to PDF
