You can set up different in-store locations in AmberPOS. These will allow you to specify inventory quantities within a particular location of a store. For example, you can have quantity 30 of SKU 1000 in the warehouse, and quantity 10 of the same SKU at the front location of the store.
*** Please make sure that the First Location is your main store location as this is where the sold inventory will be pulled from. There is no way to change locations later. ***
1. Log into the system, and then access the Setup menu
2. Under the setup menu, select the 
tab near the top left corner.
3. In the bottom half of the screen of the Stores tab:
Step 1: Select the Others tab.
Step 2: Find the In-Store Locations section on the left side.
Step 3: Type in a new Location name and select Add.
4. Select Save Store in the bottom right corner of the screen, and then restart AmberPOS.
